About Us
Vihiga County Assembly Legislative body is a creation of the Kenyan Constitution Chapter 11 Article 176 which stipulates that there shall be a County Government for each County, consisting of a County Assembly and a County Executive. Vihiga County Assembly occupies the grounds of the former County Council of Vihiga. It is located along Majengo – Ebusakami Road and Opposite Vihiga Police Station.
Mandates And Classification
Committees are small specialized groups that help the Assembly to carry out its functions out of the chambers. There are two types of committees At Vihiga County assembly;
